We are enormously grateful to the support our Shed receives from a wide range of organisations and individuals. The grants, tools, materials, permissions and good-will that come to us from so many directions continues to enable the Shed to do tangible good within the Tadley area. Our Shed was officially opened on Friday 19th January 2024 by the Mayor and Mayoress David and Amanda Leeks.
Tadley Men’s Shed was formed as an idea in the spring of 2020. It was felt that there was the opportunity to provide a place in Tadley to pursue practical interests at leisure, to practice skills and enjoy making and mending when the Covid-19 pandemic brought our plans to a halt. We had our first face to face meeting on 9th July 2021 and subsequently identified a suitable location for our shed, acquired Planning Permission, raised funds and now have a Portable cabin located at St Mary’s church, Tadley.
